Good 6.0
This was our first visit to a B&B hotel - it will also be our last which started with an uninterested staff member checking us in. Breakfast was 7.20 Euro - to be paid upfront (not at checkout) - it was so basic I suggest you would get better value going to the local supermarket and buying fresh fruit and yogurt. However, if you like coffee and bread/pastries for breakfast it may be good value. The fruit was inedible (not ripe), all yogurt and cereal heavily sugared, no eggs to boil. Breakfast room heavily policed to ensure you paid. The room itself has NO reading lights at all - ie none over or near the bed. Shower was difficult due to positioning of shower rose. Only good thing - close to railway station and walkable to Genoa attractions.

Exceptional 10.0
Fantastic, modern and clean accommodation for a stop over or a longer stay. Incredible location as the stop for the shuttle bus from the airport is right in front of it, as is the train station Piazza Principe for trains to the Cinque Terre. Quiet despite being in a busy area. 15 min walk to the famous Via Garibaldi and old town. A funicular nearly opposite the hotel for a ride up to Castello d'Albertis - a beautiful, quirky and interesting castle on a hill. Check out is up till midday! Good breakfast with a wide variety of options at 7.20euro, which works out the same as a drink and croissant only breakfast in nearby cafe. Would recommend our room no. 501 on the corner of 5th floor, compact but big enough for two, extremely comfortable bed and foam pillows, fridge and safe, very big bathroom with a great shower. (Couple of small issues which could improve the bathroom: more hanging space ie rails to dry out towels - there is wall space for that in the 2nd part of the bathroom where the window is; shower head should be on a rail to move it up and down to desired position, not have two fixed settings: one high up and another at waist level.) Would definitely stay there again and recommend to friends.

Slightly crazy hotel...
Slightly crazy hotel – but then Genoa’s a slightly crazy city. First: it’s ideally-situated next to the Principe train station, where the airport buses stop, just beyond the edge of the Centro Storico (which is said to be dodgy late at night). It’s old, basic, and a bit of a rabbit warren – a microcosm of the city itself. It was spotlessly clean, but my bathroom had something of a smell of drains – a smell I noticed elsewhere in Genoa. The air conditioning in the room never worked (I was told it would be fixed next day, but it wasn’t) so I simply went to sleep under a sheet. Breakfast was surprisingly good and ample in a German-frühstück sort of way, though missing out on fruit and vegetables (a bowl of apples did appear on the fourth morning). But for anyone needing unlimited coffee, protein and carbohydrates, it was good value. Staff, if you made the effort to engage with them, were perfectly charming. Having once before stayed in a B&B hotel and found almost every aspect not quite good enough, I was pleasantly surprised this time round.

perfect localization and very clean
fantastic hotel for the price I paid-40 euro. in front of main railway station Il Principe, 4 min walking distance to FLIXBUS station.6 floor building with genial view to Genova and nice Castelletto. Mine was at 5th floor. Possible breakfast buffet but I didn't have it.One may use microoven or buy snack and fridged food in the lobby. Fast checkin ( I got my room before checkin time)and checkout.Room very spacious, super clean!!!good quality of bedlinen, comfy bed, fast wifi, superclean bathroom with wide bathtube and bidette,3 towels for each person, good aircondition, lots of LED lights to make atmosphere ;-) in room. Minibar- fridge. The only minus-lack of kettle but it was not important when having microoven downstairs.Luggage storage.Definetely I will come back. Thank You

Location is pretty near to the train station. Room spacious for 2 persons. Basic attached bathroom. The only issue is the lift is not as convenience as it's. Total there are two lifts, one spoilt and left with only one lift can take 2 persons. It's a 'manual' lift which after use, need to close the lift door manually otherwise it will not working for next person to use. This was we encountered when the previous guests use the lift and never close the lift door, we were at level 3 and have to run all the way to ground floor to close the door in order for the lift went up to the 3rd level to take luggage down to lobby.
