Stunningly beautiful but not worth price
The hotel itself is stunningly beautiful. One of cleanest hotels to date. Check in was almost flawless. There was an additional $35 per day charge that was added on to my bill daily without my knowledge for the pool however I never used the facility and was never notified of the additional daily optional charge until days later. However the manager kindly refunded the charges since I was never notified but I did have to call to clarify the strange $264 up charge on my credit card. The rooftop bar Julian had stunning city views and amazing small bites of food. Hats off to the chef for taste and presentation of the small bites at Bar Julian. Service at the bar was awful. The manager of the bar as well as most of the employees were too busy socializing rather than tending to guests. I waited more than an hour trying to pay my tab and leave. I tried to dine at the restaurant on the main floor and the same issue with terrible service. Hostess was busy scrolling through social media and her phone and I was never seated in the empty restaurant, so I left. The location of the hotel is convenient. Overall disappointing experience.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of November 2022 and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We stayed there again in April 2023 and had a much different experience. The staff were not very accommodating. The staff at the rooftop bar were extremely rude. No one told us that the on-site restaurant was going to be closed on Monday night and we stood waiting at the podium to see if someone would arrive to seat us. Someone walked out of the restaurant looked at us and kept on walking and did not let us know that the restaurant was closed. unfortunately over the course of four months, the hotel took a downward turn.
