With a better attitude, it would have been nicer.
Main problem begins with the management. Me and the wife are from the area, and just went for a get away, and an indoor pool is a nice thing in the winter, and it was. Anyway what got me ticked is that they have a $100 hold on your card for locals and a $20 charge for everyone else. The reasoning being they have had problems with locals causing damage. Ok I normally wouldn't have thought twice about the hold except now I believe I am being discriminated against because of where I lived. I have never trashed a room in my life. So when I was checking in I expressed my opinion about the matter and the young man checking me in didn't really care and continued to do his job, that's ok didn't mind. Well while I was talking to the guy a young lady interjected her opinion that my opinion was completely wrong, and explained about the locals doing damage. What was the purpose of this arguing with a customer for no reason at all,why couldn't she just leave well enough alone? No fight or even argument was happening, the young man needed no help he was doing fine. The flyer they gave me to explain all this stated that the housekeeper supervisor had to check the room if it was clean in order to have my money released, so a guy who is in charge of the people who clean the rooms, who do a pretty bad job gets to decide if it's clean enough. The linens and bed were fine and clean. But they don't dust, hair in the tub,and general stuff on the walls ,air and heat vents were dirty. It's ok,it's cheap.

DIRTY Hotel & loud guests - Don't book here!
This hotel was disgusting...the OLD TV had a constant annoying buzzing noise. The room was filthy, I found short, black hairs on my bedspread (that were not mine, you see where I'm going with this!) Totally disgusting and gross! It's obvious they don't wash the bedspreads and the room overall was outdated and uncomfortable. The people next door to me had dogs (which I love dogs) but they barked every time someone slammed the heavy room doors shut (which seemed to be constant) and the first night stayed there, I was awoken at 2am by the couple down the hall who were arguing until someone came and knocked on their door to shut up. This hotel attracted trashy guests, I'm sorry to say, but I guess you get what you pay for, at $48 per night. I complained to the Wyndham company & all they offered me was points on my Wyndham membership to stay at one of their trashy hotels in the future...um no thanks! Stay away from this Ramada and Wyndham in general...they don't care about your comfort or cleanliness and they won't make it right either.

Sleepless and romance ruined
Our stay this time was not good at all. We paid extra money and had 2 rooms for 2 nights each. We were woken up at 12am by creaming and fighting in the hall. Then followed by horns blowing outside and swearing and tire squealing. After falling back asleep we were woken up again to our fire alarm going off in our room. We got up terrified and tried fanning it till it shut off, crawled back into bed to the same alarm goin back off again screeching in the room, after fanning it again we turned on the a/c in the 30 degree weather to keep the rooms air circulating to keep the alarm off. After finding clothes and heading down to the front desk there was angry people everywhere at yelling about multiple issues. One to find out our room alarm went off because a couple caught a bag of popcorn on fire at 1 in the morning setting off all the alarms and filling the rooms and halls with smoke on our side, 2, there was a drunk couple fighting that woke other people up from there reactions and they took off, and 3, there was a group of individuals smoking weed in the stairways causing another alarm and the whole building to stink terribly like drugs. Did not sleep at all that night. Our room was clean, with the exception of blood on the pillow case and cracked floor tiles and tub in the bathroom. We paid extra for hot tub room for a romantic getaway instead to have a terrible sleepless time. We were very disappointed and would like a refund. Probably will not stay there again.

Reasonable rate, great room and customer service
My room was very nice but the hall light was out, curtain was torn and the socket between the beds only one was working. Coffee in the lobby was cold. However, my overall stay was great.
