Old and run down
Very horrible hotel. So dirty and old that I was scared I was going to see a cockroach come out of the way. Hallways smelled like weed. Smelly homeless looking people in the hallway surrounded by 10 beers and In the process of passing out. Dirty carpets every where. Room service brought towels, but did no make bed. Towels were thin, hard and rough. Felt more like paper than a towel. Old outdated TVs. Paying an extra 10 15 bucks to stay somewhere else is easly worth your money

Strange Smell
The room wasn't horrible and the overall quality was better than the slum the other reviews would lead to you to expect. However, this place smelled like the run-down apartment complex that a girl I used to date lived. It brought back weird memories since the smell was that of weird carpet cleaners and baby powder that more than likely was trying to cover up the smell of weed. Jackie had a bit of a drug problem and delivered pizza for a living. I will never forget the time she was astonished that I could afford to fill my gas tank completely since she could only afford to put maybe $10 at a time in hers. My clothes smelled like her apartment when I opened my suitcase to unpack when I got home. I couldn't do laundry fast enough. This was after staying for just one night. The memories of "Wacky Jackie" still haunt me.

quick service
Wasn't sure what to think - Illinois has banned smoking from bars, etc. and they still had smoking and non-smoking rooms and I wasn't expecting that. Also, decor, etc was old and dimly lit. However, the room was an awesome surprise! Very clean, very hot water (very needed as a bath was needed!!) and very comfortable and our room did not smell!!! Would definitely stay again. Hope company has their particular hotel on the upgrade list for hallway carpets this year!!

They scaned my ID for their DB (what is that all about). The door jamb had been burst through where the locks connect and then repaired (poorly), the table in the room had a broken leg that was ascuew and the room was very hot, which with the small air conditionar never got cool. The bathroom was clean if you could overlook the mid section hair on the floor.
