I understand policy, but there also should be some way of working with a customer when there is a misunderstanding. I am originally from New Boston but I’ve lived away for the better part of 23 years. I did move home again after hurricane Harvey, hence why my license now says New Boston, I never changed it when I moved back in 2019, my fault, not debating that. But if I pay for a room and drive 5 hours to get to the room at almost midnight only to be told she is cancelling my reservation because my address says New Boston on my license!! I could show bank statements and other bills because I had some mail in the car to prove I didn’t live in New Boston but she cancelled it without any consideration. Cool, I have my girlfriend with me and she books the room with her ID and I pay for the room for a second time!! We get into the room and I shower, the water backs up to my ankles!! Before I go on, I was NEVER rude not one time to the staff. I go to the front desk and they move me to a double queen when I paid for a king. We get to thie new room and the tub is filthy!! Had to try to clean and wipe as good as we could. I try to speak with the manager the next morning and the lady was rude from the moment I walked into the office. I hadn’t even said a word to her. She told me that she moved me to another room and that I should be ok with that. She spoke to me as if I was the one that had done her wrong. NEVER BOOK THIS FILTHY PLACE!!!

Last week was great. This week, room was not as clean. Safety lock was broken; no sink stopper; toilet tank fixture broken which created a screeching noise that kept me up from sleeping and caused me to have a headache from the noise.
