Great price in overpriced(for nothing) Flagstaff
The price was right here for a respite from camping...48$ Hotels.com mid week...It is and “Could Be” a vintage motor lodge...BUT!...They are using the wrong people (likely cheapest...I’d hope!!!) for both Housekeeping and Maintenance. Staff/Check in extremely friendly, service oriented, Room was not well cleaned...dust/dirty marble on ancient dresser that opens om it’s own due to settling of foundation...Towels were VERY dirty/stained...defeated purpose of what could have been a nice bathroom! (Bath is redone...but with the poorest of labor...tub is dirty! Most likely CLR would clean off soap scum/scale...1 towel had what looked like bloodstain, other 3 what looked like asphalt/oil staining. (Worst part but I used them (Blechhhh!!!) AC cut off 3 times due to poor, ancient wiring, but...to their credit, it’s been unseasonably hot!!!...Nice Big TV, cable channels, wifi included. Overall, I liked this King room, cute bed throw is reminiscent of owner’s culture. I hate to see people getting taken advantage of by bad workers!!! I ran a hotel for 8 years, and my worst housekeepers were better than this. Whoever does maintenance here is a joke too, but they also may be limited to owner’s budget...I could clean, paint touch up, fix problem wiring, re-grout this entire hotel in a few days ny myself and do a better job! WILL be staying here again though, right price, right owners...bit of a shame more tlc is not done here however.

Calling this property a dump is being generous
What a dump. We couldn't even stay the night it was so filthy and disgusting. None of the pictures on hotels.com reflect the true view of the hotel and its rooms. The Hotels.com review is 2 stars, which i was ok with as I only needed a clean bed to sleep in. I couldn't do it, it was that disgusting. Giving this place zero stars would have been generous. I'm disappointed that Hotels.com would promote this property. I've never had anything but great results from staying at a hotels.com property and have several friends and family members using Hotels.com because of my recommendation. I must caution then now. Buyer beware on this property. I used my rewards for this stay. My biggest regret in loosing them on such a miserable experience. I hope the management at Hotels.com removes this property from their offerings.

Good stay in a great location.
Don’t let some of the reviews scare you off. This place is perfectly respectable, especially if you’re just in Flagstaff for a quick visit and need a place that puts you super-close to the downtown area. Yes, it has seen more than a few coats of paint in its day (built in the 1940s). No, you will not get deluxe plush towels and bedding. But you will get a safe spot (parked our jam-packed minivan outside our room with no qualms), a comfy enough bed, a big enough room (I had space to set up my son’s crib), and a 6 minute walk to all the restaurants, shops, and bars of charming downtown Flagstaff. Don’t bother with the breakfast (packaged pastries and coffee). Go next door to Matador Coffee, or around the corner to the Toasted Owl. Stop at the gas station across the street before you get back on the road. Enjoy the view of the mountains. Smile at the super-nice guy who works the front desk. I was glad I chose this place for our night in Flagstaff.

Loved how the towels and sheets smelled. Loved how clean everything was. The staff was super professional and nice. The only concern was the maintenance of the outside of the building and the bathroom, just needs better caulking and paint. The property was super clean and close to NAU and great eating spots.

Budget motel no frills pet friendly
Stayed at this property for a quick overnight in Flagstaff. Things that are good: management and person on staff was very welcoming and accommodating. Great interaction checking in. Liked the area super close to everything and great coffee shop next door. Things that were so-so: this motel has been here for sometime and is either going through renovations or has gone through. Let’s be clear, this is a super cheap budget motel and so it is so as far as niceness of rooms. Liked the ability to have three beds in a room (even with a separate bedroom!) and they take dogs with a cheap pet fee. That being said, there are repairs inside the room that are being worked on, painting, old heating systems, doors that don’t have latches, burns in bedspreads. For the price and the need of beds and pet friendly, was what I expected. I would stay again if I needed to be in that price range with pets.
