Not happy about my stay!
Bathroom and shower area was extremely small with very short ceiling and angles which I hit my head multiple times. No wash cloths. Shower didn’t have even a small place for putting the soap or my own shampoo. Shower was only separated from the toilet seat by a curtain and water from the shower would accumulate under the toilet seat unless I put one of the towels there to soak the standing water. Bathroom was not really cleaned the second day. The room was so small I couldn’t even open our suitcases on the floor. No closet or hangers. They didn’t even take the used cups or give us clean cups the second day. The only good thing about this hotel was it’s nice neighborhood and that is it. They also charged me an additional fee for city tax which apparently was not included in the original payment via hotels.com although it said taxes and fees are included.

Nice quiet place to stay.
A little distance from the train station, but the trains take a nice scenic tour through the city to get you there. Friendly staff and small enough business to make it a personal one. We had a nice stay. Thank you.

A lovely hotel!
The hotel was great! The staff was very friendly, the room was clean & the beds were comfortable. The location was also fantastic - we were able to walk all around Amsterdam with ease. The only thing I would critique is the height of the shower in the room - I am 5 feet 3 inches and had to hunch over to put my head under the shower. Other than that, the hotel was absolutely fantastic and a great value!

Cottage Vibes in the Heart of the Museum District
The location of this Hotel is what originally inspired me to stay here and it did not disappoint upon arrival. It is located just down the street (6min walk) from a Metro station as well as major museums in the area. By being down a side street there is little noise on the street and you can access the park immediately behind the hotel. Beyond the location, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I asked for recommendations for cafes in the local area and they were happy to help. When I arrived they allowed me to check in to my room very early because the room had not been occupied the night before. I was able to leave my luggage in the hotel before and after check in while I grabbed food and I felt comfortable and safe leaving my things in their care. The rooms were clean and well arrange although small. I did not feel stuck because the ceilings were high and the window was very large and bright.
