Good full Scottish breakfast. Good cleaning and towel service. Tea available in room. Good budget stay.

Mixed thoughts
This hotel is a bit dodgy. The neighborhood isn't great but it is within walking distance of a lot of shops, pubs and transit. The breakfast is borderline tasteless. The WiFi is very spotty and doesn't work with a tablet, so if you need online access, you'd best have a good cell plan. The staff is very nice and helpful. The rooms are a good size. To be honest, some of the other guests seemed a bit scary. We would not stay here again.

Close to food and shops, but not close enough.
We spent one night in Glasgow. hotel is located right next to the hospital. You can easily walk from the hotel to other shopping and eatery. We even did a sightseeing bus, which stop is one block from the hotel. Parking is on the street. We paid $2 pounds to park overnight and to 10am next day on the street via the permit. You might have to drive around a block. We managed to find nice spot near the hotel. I think for the price, it was a good deal. Initially you might get the bad neighborhood feeling, but I think its ok. Room is rather roomer than other and very modern and clean. Had to sleep with window open, so heard some voices from people on the patio area, but they quiet down by 9pm so no problems there. Food was pretty good too. As for main attraction area, you are too far to walk to cathedral or anything else, but bus stops are very close.
