Budget hotel!
I did love this guesthouse. The bathroom was a quiet big. The room was well cleaned and cozy itself. I dont complain at all. Receptionists were very kind. They provide a call taxi service for 25 euros. I was able to get to the airport without any trouble. Not far from the downtown. Not very walkable distance but with bus, not far.

EXCELLENT staff - so helpful in navigating the area and providing suggestions. The room was great for what we needed, which was a place for one night with our large family. If we'd stayed longer, we would have wanted something larger. Overall, very happy we stayed here.

Good airport hotel
Egans was fine for what I needed - a place to crash during an overnight layover at Dublin Airport. The staff were friendly & helpful, the bed was comfortable & the shower was hot. If I’d been staying as a visitor to Dublin for a few days, I’d not have been so happy. The room was very small (my medium suitcase would barely fit in & would have blocked the door); the bathroom sink has a timed tap that I had to push three or four times to get hot water, then three or four more times to wash my face (I like not wasting water, but that was really irritating); the water pipes in the wall were loud enough to keep even this jet lagged traveler awake until after midnight; and the construction site at the back of the hotel started at 7:00 (nothing the hotel can do about that, but still annoying). Breakfast was ok, if I’d paid full price for the room I’d expect it to be included, but with the discounted room, I didn’t mind paying the extra €10. On the whole, Egans is a great place if you need a place for one night near the airport. They even have a fixed rate taxi service to the airport.
