Mountain lodge comfort on 503 acres

Set on 503 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains, Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa keeps the pace easy and outdoorsy in Young Harris. The main lodge centers on a striking hexagonal lobby with a soaring Tennessee field-stone chimney, plus rustic touches like oak-paneled walls and elk horn chandeliers. For downtime between plans, there’s a year-round indoor-outdoor heated pool for quick warm-up laps and deck lounging.

  • Links-style golf days

An 18-hole championship course winds past ponds and streams with mountain scenery.

  • Dining with a view

The Dining Room pairs mountain-view meals with indoor fireplace seating or a veranda.

  • Horseback trail rides

Guided rides explore five miles of mountain trails, with options for all levels.

8/10 Very good

Everything was very nice. CON: The breakfast buffet was very sparse, and $$. It is also not a good time to go while construction on the property is going on. Other than that it's a great place to stay, beautiful scenery.
