Ruined Our Stay!!! Refused Refund!!!
Horrible experience. There was a problem with the usb outlets provided. They didn’t have enough voltage to charge our phones. Tested all of them, plus tried the outlets with usb blocks and cables and none of them worked to charge the phones. After a third trip to the front desk, they provided the charger from the front desk. (Our usb cables worked perfectly in our car.) It was my son’s birthday and we had steaks and meals from Texas Road House. They all went bad because the refrigerator wasn’t working. The front desk sent someone to our room in the middle of the night to look at it. Then in the morning we found it was working again. All of our foot spoiled, from being in a broken refrigerator for several hours. The front desk offered 5000 points, it cost 20,000 points per night using their rewards system. They refused any refund because we had booked through Hotels.com, as if they were seeing any of that money. On a side note, they use tons of styrofoam plates which are extremely bad for the environment. The styrofoam plates are used with the free breakfast, by each customer daily. So that impact adds up. Overall, very stressful to deal with electrical issues while staying one night in a hotel, during a major move from one property to the next. Not the relaxing stay that it should have been for over $200. This voltage issue was beyond annoying. Maybe building and safety should take a look.
