Exceptional
beautiful grounds to enjoy prior to check-in
The front desk staff was amazing and so accommodating when I arrived many hours earlier than the check-in time. The grounds are well maintained, the location in Poipu can not be beat, and the access to the beach + the beach chairs overlooking the ocean honestly made my very very short (business trip!) complete.

Beautiful property in Kauai
We loved our time at the Marriott! The property and grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Fabulous pool, playground and outdoor areas! Great beach access and fun activities. Room was well-appointed and maintained. Several close restaurants and Longs Drugs within a mile or so if the resort. I loved our time in Kauai and would absolutely stay here again!

Big rooms... great staff... not a Beach Club
Huge lovely rooms. Property is lacking a lap type pool.... or any restaurant but plenty nearby. Roosters woke us at 4:30 am without fail as we backed up to a parking lot full of this little Carly prevalent bird

Great facilities but expensive for a single night
Our total bill for one night was ~$500. I get that Hawaii is expensive in general, but for a single hotel room with a view of a parking lot/laundry facilities, this wasn't worth the value. We only stayed here because we were in a condo somewhere else for a week and needed an extra night before our flight. However, the pool was great, it is right on a nice swimming beach, the fitness facility is great for a hotel, and they provide a special lounge with shower facilities if you have to check out and wait awhile before heading to the airport. Kids enjoyed the pool, but this reminds me why we have a timeshare and always get a condo, especially with kids!

Very Good
Monk seals on the beach made it pretty cool. This is probably the best area to stay at to explore the south side of the island.
