This is a great no nonsense hotel with great customer service. Rooms are not opulent but clean and provide all of the necessities. I personally liked the complimentary daily beer and the quick walk to the train station is ideal.
I like the my hotel room which was clean, small but cosy and had everything I needed such as water boiler, tea and coffee and comfy slippers and etc. I would recommend it to everyone who likes to spend time in Munich. It is located in a quiet street but very central at the same time. It is only a few minutes walking distance from Rosenheimer Platz.
This hotel was about 2 blocks from the subway.very clean and staff very accomadating.
The Derag was a good place to stay and a good value. Although there isn't much to do around the hotel itself, it is only a short train ride from the city center. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special.
My room was above the entrance, so it was rather loud throughout the nights.
