Crappy stay
The hotel appears very nice. The ground are beautiful. However, there are lots of problems. First there was construction on what they called a canal; it was not it was an open sewer and the smell was stomach turning and you had to walk across it to get to and from your room. The hotel boarders walking street so the noise levels at night are so loud with overlaying music that sleep is impossible; with the construction during the day it was 22 hours a day of very loud noises. The wifi worked no more than an hour a day. Mold of various types were on most surfaces in the bathroom. The breakfast is a buffet...not what id expect from this level of hotel. There's no beach access not that you'd want to go near that polluted water. When the noise, the smells, mold were brought to the hotels attention they apologized but did nothing. Offered to change rooms but quickly receded; i needed a quiet place to work and there was no place quiet. They offered me a more expensive room at a much higher price, then quickly receded the offer. I got struggles of shoulders and puzzled looks and on the night before i checked out of my 5 night stay they gave me a fruit bowl and a letter of apology...noting a review i had left not the actual problems.

Greeted by an angry parking attendant that did not speak english and the only way for him to communicate with english speakers is to wave his hands in the air while saying your an idiot in thai. I explained to the genteman that I'm checking in but he didn't understand me and while I speak some thai he kept telling me to leave. I'm guessing he thought I was trying to get free parking? After a short period of dealing with this guy I carried my bag myself to the front deskbecause I guess the attandant felt it not necessaryfor me to get any type of service, the front desk by the way is a very long walk. I get to the front desk and was told they are fully booked and do not have the room I requested and will need to have the twin bed room. Maybe it was just bad luck but I felt I was treated with a very extreme attuide checking in so I decide to only book the 1 day and I left early and found a better hotel. I do not recommend this so called 5 start hotel when there are 4 star hotels that treat you better.

Good 6.0
Overall my experience was Good but there were quite a few red flags that I just couldn't let go which led to my review and complaints. As far as the negative things I emailed them twice before I stayed there about having visitors and if I need to pay money to have them stay there over night. Well it costs 1000 baht to have visitors which is $30 USD. I talked to them about it and worked out a deal to make it only 500 baht but still that was very unpleasant because I emailed them TWICE about it and never got an answer. When you look at the bridge pictures it basically takes you from the checkin area to the pool / older side of the hotel. What you don't see is the sewage canal it goes over. If you stay close to this area you will smell it undoubtedly. The food / drinks are over priced but thats every hotel... I get it, The reason why I didn't feel as comfortable in my room is because of the plumbing. The water would go from hot to cold in a matter of seconds. It really started to get on my nerves and out of no where this VERY LOUD noise would just come and go maybe every 2-3 hours, eventually it didn't happen anymore but for my first 3-4 days it kept going off. And lastly one of the security guards made one of my guest very uncomfortable Those are my main things I felt were wrong. If you didn't know this hotel is at the end of walking st which is super convenient. The best parts of the hotel are the walking garden, location accessibility, & pool.

First impressions are that this is a nice hotel. Check in was fine but we were led to our room which was so far from the main building & stuck at the back. This seems to be the forgotten block as although it had a nice big balcony there was no chairs or furniture out there. The room had not been prepared properly as no coffee was left or toiletries. Had to ask for chairs for the balcony twice before they begrudgingly gave them. We didn’t realise until check out that there was also supposed to be a minibar, all we had was an empty fridge. To walk to the main building you have to cross a very smelly bridge over a drain which runs through the centre of the grounds. They should burn some citronella or something to try to alleviate the smell and mozzies. Felt that although this was a nice hotel we were just slung out the back with the rubbish

Watch for extra charges
Overall the hotel is over priced. The food is good but expensive. The rooms are comfortable. I paid for breakfast with the room, when I called room service they informed me that there would be an extra charge to bring it up. I told them to forget it I would come down and eat. While I was down at the breakfast area they brought a bill for breakfast. They told me they delivered it to my room. I went to the front desk and explained what was going on and they said they would take care of it. I thought everything was taken care of. When I checked out there was no extra charges on my credit card. Now a few days later there is a extra charge on my card, they should have let me know at the check out so we could settle it there and then. I will not stay again as I should not have been charged.
