At least the beds were decent...
The rooms had no air conditioning & we were sweltering. Did not see this on the info when we first booked & paid so it might be a good idea to make this much more prominent when advertising. We were on the west side of the building & no one had thought to close the drapes to at least make our arrival slightly more comfortable.

Sufficient.
It served its purpose. We were near Timberline Lodge and Tillium Lake. The amenities and room are quite basic. Remember, no AC. We were on second floor and so were able to leave the window open. We were there at the end of July and had no problems with the lack of AC. Place is noticeably old and worn, especially the bathrooms. We stayed in room with 2 queen beds. Price high vs. quality of hotel.

Nice - overall
Hotel clerk was very good, happy and helpful. Our shower was not functioning properly and we were quickly given a different comparable room. They were very kind and apologetic about the issue. There is no A/C because it is on the mountain and rarely a hot night, they did have fans in the rooms and you could open the window to let the cool night mountain air in.

noisy, uncomfortable and overpriced.
Very noisy location between road and highway, and had to keep window open due to lack of air conditioning. They actually give you a flyer notice about this when you check in. Woke up with a back ache from the bed. I stayed in 4 hotels over this trip and this one was the worst.

Nice Hotel
My husband and I stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay here. Complimentary breakfast was good. The taco bar during happy hour was great and came in handy after a long day of walking trails. The Mt. Hood brewery next door is a must visit too. The non airconditioned room wasn't an issue for us but I could see where it might be if the temp had been any higher.
