Loved this place!
This hotel was great. The rooms were very nice, the staff were very kind and helpful. Everything was clean, and the area was great! It was quite expensive (probably because I stayed during a special event).

The location is beautiful, as is the Lodge. We had a very pleasant stay. One exception was the lights at night seeped into the room, sometimes keeping us awake. Otherwise, very good..Would stay there again.

Great location. Resort is showing some wear and not sound proof at all. You can hear outside and other rooms.

Lovely stay at The Village at Squaw Valley
Overall, loved the Vilage at Squaw Valley. The unit we stayed in had a spectacular view and was convenient to the slopes, dining and shopping. The unit was nicely furnished and had a great fireplace. I was disappointed at how sparsely the kitchen was furnished. It had no large storage bowls, containers or platters, no spices to cook with (not even salt or pepper!) and not even a crock pot. Housekeeping didn't come one day, so trash not picked up and no clean towels. The parking garage does not have good instructions and every one we spoke with had difficulty finding out where to park. Also there are no luggage carts! Our check in was smooth and the staff upon arrival (one lady) was very helpful and friendly. My husband fractured his clavicle while skiing and when we asked the staff if we could request a late check out, we were informed that the village didn't manage the property and couldn't grant that request. The male clerk upon departure was unsympathetic and not helpful in the least. I would definitely recommend these condos to family and friends and would have given it better scores if just a bit more effort were given in the above areas. Love both Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley areas.
