I was disappointed with the location, room & uncomfortable bed. We mistakenly went to the Comfort Inn & Suites near the airport & it was definitely nicer. Would not book this one again.

Booked twin queen and sofa bed room for five but discovered sofa was labelled Not Operable (broken). Took over half an hour for staff to verify inop of bed and resolve with his manager/owner they would comp room across hallway for our use plus the booked room at a discount. Room should never have been booked for five if the innkeeper's inventory database had taken note of the broken sofa. At that late hour we had limited options, tired and three hungry children.

Hated our stay here. The staff were friendly, but the hotel was extremely dated. The rooms just felt dirty. Low ceilings, old furniture, uncomfortable beds. Absolutely no water pressure on the shower. The neighborhood didn't feel safe. They did have a parking garage which end seemed safe until you realize there are two other enterances that don't require a room key to get in. What's the point of that? I had to run to Wal-Mart after dark and felt very uneasy about the neighborhood. I was approached by a man in the parking lot. If you're driving through Visalia just keep on driving or at least just pick a different hotel. We stayed at several hotels on a two week tour of CA with our 3 children. This was by far the worst hotel we stayed in. I probably should have complained. Waste of money. We couldn't wait to get out of there.
