Luxurious stay in a great locale
I had a great stay. This hotel is about as perfect as I've experienced anywhere. The location is great -- a few blocks from the Zona Rosa but in a quiet upper-class residential area. Buses to everywhere half a block away. There is some noise on weekends, but the sound-proof windows in the room blocked at least 80%. The common areas are stunning, several sitting areas with fireplaces. The staff was universality friendly and helpful. The room was large and everything worked and was perfectly clean. It was a little plain but comfortable with tons of closet space, drawers and outlets. The wifi worked great -- about 40 Mbps available. The only negative is there doesn't seem to be heating in the room and Bogota gets chilly. The bed is a bit hard but I slept well and warm under the substantial duvet. Breakfast was very nice in the attractive restaurant. The second breakfast I was offered eggs to order and they made me a fantastic ham and cheese omelet. All in all a super weekend and I will prefer this hotel in the future.
