Ramada Oxford, Oxford
Old, smelly, safety not stay!
The rooms appeared dingy and dirty (we asked for another room because the first one looked very dirty, and the second one wasn’t much better but it was late and we needed to sleep so we accepted it. In the morning, we couldn’t get the shower past a scalding temperature, and had to ask someone from the desk to help us yank the knob over past where it felt like it would break, just to get it to a humanly bearable temperature after being scalded trying to adjust it ourselves. One of the outlets was falling out of the wall - a clear safety hazard. And there was a distinct smoke smell, especially in the bathroom, despite it being a non-smoking hotel. When we brought up these serious issues to a staff member, she said she would try to help us. However, I have yet to hear from the hotel or receive any discount or refund for our terrible experience.

Close to Oxford
Close to Park and Ride for Oxford or a short drive to Blenheim Palace. In a Motorway service area. Room was fine.

Convienent to M40 Oxford. No restaurant on Sun evening, but there are eating places at the service area.

We booked a room with a Double and a Sofa bed accommodating 4 people. Instead of a double soda bed, it was a single bed plus a cot. With that mattress on the floor, there is no space left in the room. Room has no AC and bathroom has no vent. There is no fresh air in the room let alone bathroom.

No A/C
No A/C! Probably not an issue most of the year but we arrived on an 88 degree day. The location was almost 20 minutes away from Oxford. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
