The hotel room was spacious and clean.”, but wasn’t overly warm and no extra throws or blankets were e.g. in the wardrobe. It was very quiet which is a huge plus for us. Having been asked what time we would go for breakfast we expected a table waiting for us. We likened it to a rugby scrum. Searched for a table for 3, no help from staff and no obvious manager on duty. Replicated on the second morning. There was little evidence our room had been serviced- beds remained more or less as we left them. Toiletries were nice but no shower cap!!!!! We ate in the hotel restaurant on Friday night- the food was excellent, the food at breakfast was also good but what a fight to get at it!

I was there during my birthday and the staff put together a fruit basket and a bottle of Prosecco for me and a cake. Very very nice stay. Would stay there again
