Booked here last minute to explore San Francisco. Easy booking. Easy check in. But the room was ehhh. TV didn’t work. Parking here sucks. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way. Bathroom rug didn’t look fully clean.

Decent , affordable hotels are rare in San Francisco , especially one with a bathroom. This place is great for the price. Very clean and off the main street so you don't get much traffic noise. Which is very rare for a hotel in SF. This is located In a residential area so parking actually has some hope. Highly recommend this place for the price , location And cleanliness.

This was a good little property in San Francisco. Close to everything you might want to visit and a short walk from food. It’s not the most luxurious place but definitely worth a stay if you’re on a budget looking for a decent place. Came here on a spur of the moment trip and was actually pretty surprised at how good the place was for the price. I can see myself coming back.

I chose this spot over others on the Lombard Street motel strip because of some of the reviews and the lower price. The good reviews were right, the room was pretty decent. The room was really clean and when you first walk in there’s a strong scent which was actually kind of pleasant and blended in pretty quickly. I liked the bed being on a wooden platform rather than a box spring, less chance of infestation. Bathroom was clean, nice bathtub. Big flat screen TV mounted on the wall for good viewing with lots of channels including HBO. The room had a refrigerator but no microwave. The room was comparable to places I’ve stayed at higher rates. The location is good, near the Presidio Gate, right near 101 heading towards GG Bridge. I guess in normal times they offer coffee, juice and muffins in the front office but not now. There’s a Starbucks in the Presidio and a pretty good cafe on Chestnut Street, walking distance is about the same. A few negs: parking lot is small and tight so if it’s full you have to find street parking which may not be available as close as you’d like. But there are groceries and restaurants in walking distance, if you get a spot in the motel lot, you may not want to give it up. Like most motels of this sort, the walls are pretty thin so hope for quiet neighbors although their TV sound might bleed through. I picked a room upstairs to avoid clomping noises from above. I would definitely stay there again.

Random styrofoam cups with coffee grounds placed in the room. Very noisy between floors, could hear upstairs guests all night.

I loved my stay at this hotel, it’s a smaller hotel and family run it feels like but it is very comfortable and the location is excellent. You are literally a 5-10 minute walk from the palace of fine arts and the beaches at the marina, and at the entrance of the presidio which is a park like setting and you can get to the Golden Gate Bridge easily by driving through the presidio. There are limited parking spots at the hotel so if you’re parking on the street you will need to be aware of the time constraints (the streets are 2-3 hour parking during certain days and times) but it wasn’t that big of an issue and the location made it worth it. It felt safe, clean and comfortable so much so that we ended up extending our stay. A great place to stay for a good price while in San Francisco
