Awful
It is very sad, because the service, the resort itself, the food the restaurants are fantastic. The front desk and the management staff are awful. They have no idea on customer service. We arrived, they moved us rooms three times trying to find a room that was correct. Throughout the week, nightmare upon nightmare. We had guests come in for a day pass, security took their licenses and put them in his pocket, making them feel like prisoners. Fantastic resort but awful service. Every dealing we with had with management was worse, several there should have no place in the service industry. The actual staff in the restaurants, bars, etc are amazing and are held back by bad management, and a bad front desk.

Poopy Cana :(
Horrible from beginning to end! Check in was slow and painful - language challenged. Day 1 was not fun but we finally got checked in, then Day 2 and 3 were not bad... relaxing on the beach and at the pool. Beach is beautiful btw! But then my husband got food poisoning on Day 4 and was deathly sick for the next 3 days! Unfortunately this was our first and last trip to Punta Cana - we won't be back! Even before his illness, we had agreed "if" we came back to Punta Cana, we would stay somewhere else :(

It was horrible! Since I can't really write the facts on my review all I can say it was Horrible! From staff to location to rooms! Staff permitted Locals to do whatever whenever!!!

Wonderful Vacation Resort for Families
I had an 8 day stay here with my three year old daughter. (I am a single mom) It was wonderful. Yes, the rooms are a bit dated - and I even had one of the renovated rooms (in buildings 11-13), but it had all the things I needed--a clean, comfortable bed, working shower, regularly stocked mini bar with water and sodas, and TV. The wi-fi was not included but I paid the $60 for a one week pass. I thought this reasonable and it worked pretty well. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. There is a bit of a push for "vacation club" (i.e. timeshare) but they gave up easily enough when I did not express interest. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. We only once ate in one of the by-reservation restaurants (the Mexican) but overall I was very pleased with the quantity and variety of the food.
