Close to downtown, but on quiet street
Location of the hotel was good for our trip. It's very close to the downtown area while being far away enough to have a quiter neighborhood. The hotel is in an older building, so expect lots of charm in that regard. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Good customer service. The only negative experience we had was our room shared a wall with the elavator so we heard that move through out the night.

Adequate stay for the budget
Adequate accommodations for our short visit. Walking to the "hot spots" (ie temple bar area) along the river was easy enough. Hotel is older, but has been kept well. For our family of 4, the 4 twin beds were adequate, but it would have been nice to have 2 queens instead. No refrigerator in the room, no USB charging ports (hardware store just around the corner sells the USB plugs for half the price the hotel does), small TV (didn't matter to us as we were out of the room except to sleep). It did have a towel warmer which was nice, good water pressure and temperature control, and a decent sized bathroom.

Not Dublin's finest ... average hotel.
Location is everything with the Belvedere. Staff were friendly but were unaware that the hotel still offers a discount for parking ... it does not. We were directed to garage blocks away for 28 euro per night. I found Mater Hospital parking for 15 euro. Hotel also advertises itself as a spot for professionals. We had to ask for a lamp for our work desk and the room itself was cramped for two people. Still, good location for the 10-minute walk to central Dublin.
