This hotel does not deserve all of the really bad reviews that it has. Yes, the hotel is older and a bit rundown. Yes, there is service issues, mainly due to lack of employees. Everyone is experiencing that, not just this hotel. Hotel rooms themselves were fine, clean, orderly, regular hotel rooms. The pool area was small but nice. There are definitely some ways the hotel can improve. First of all having the restaurant only open from 5 to 10 PM and then having not enough staff to even run it for those minimal hours is rough for those of us staying at the hotel. We had dinner there 1 night, and from the time we were sat down, it took 1 hour to bring us our food. Grilled cheese sandwiches. That’s a really long time. The little store that’s on site should have more food options, mainly grab and go things like breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches for lunch, things like that to offset the lack of a full service restaurant being open. Also paying for parking here is lunacy. I was charged $10 a day to self park in an huge, empty, parking lot. No reason for that at all. Parking is not tight or an issue. That is the only right reason to charge for parking. My room rate of $275 for Friday and my rate of $301 for Saturday, before taxes and fees(!) is too high for this property.

Wonderful Stay!
Great hotel! Will definitely stay again. Beautiful property!! The staff was amazing and the restaurant was soooo good! The only bummer was that my kids wanted to use the hot tub and it was cold.

I would recommend this hotel
The room was very nice, clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I stayed two nights and ate dinner both nights (which is served in the bar until 10 pm) the food and service were great. My second day I ate breakfast (delicious Eggs Benedict) in the restaurant, unfortunately the service was quite possibly the worst I've ever experienced there was creamer at the table but no sugar so when my coffee arrived I asked for sugar and my coffee was cold by the time it got there, when the waitress brought my breakfast she asked if I wanted hot sauce I said yes please, after 15 minutes I had to ask again and then waited 20 min after finishing my meal finally asking the waiter for a container to take my fruit with me and the check. It was not that busy to have received this poor service was very disappointing. The next morning I went for breakfast again and ate outside on the patio near the pool thankfully a different server who was very attentive I ordered the breakfast taco's (which I highly recommend) I could not have had better service. The pool offered a cool and refreshing retreat from the triple digit day time temperatures we were having at that time and the comfortable hot tub was opened until 10 pm allowing time for things to cool down a bit and still be able to enjoy it. Over all a great stay!
