    Excellent Experience. Felt like home.

    We needed a place to stay for the weekend in Dubuque. We were in town for the Snocross races at the fairgrounds. Had just planned to get a hotel and didn't even think about VRBO. After reading reviews of local hotels and seeing the rates, it occurred to me to check VRBO. So glad I did!! We replaced 2 hotel rooms with this home and ended up spending less. Now, about the home. The home is older, but in exceptionally good, mostly original condition. We felt like we were at our very own home. Not at all like we were in a rental. All the amenities that you would want, like large screen smart TVs in each bedroom and an extra large one in the living room. Fast Wi-Fi. The beds were very comfortable. Fully equipped kitchen so you can eat in. Bath towels were thick and soft, just like home. One item that was really impressive: it snowed about 5" during our arrival and overnight of our 1st night. 1st thing in the morning, the drive was being cleared, right up to where our car was parked. We left for the day, and when we returned, the rest of the drive and patio had been cleared of snow. I would definitely select this home again if I needed a place to stay in Dubuque.

    Awesome Home

    This property is in a great location within a great neighborhood. Very comfortable with a homey feel to this home. Large, beautiful back backyard with large patio and small screened in porch. Owner was super friendly, accommodating and very easy to communicate with. This is an awesome choice for your stay in Dubuque.

    Cute house just slightly off the beaten path

    Jenni's home is beautifully decorated. Unfortunately it was a little too cold to enjoy the cute screen porch or the outside patio but we were able to cozy up with a blanket and watch some movies in the comfortable living room. This home is slightly off the beaten path on a busier road than we expected but just a short drive away from downtown. Not the fault of the homeowner but note that trying to get an Uber from this home proved to be almost impossible. :) Overall it was a good stay.

    Great place in Dubuque, Iowa

    Nice neighborhood. It was a bit too far for us to walk to downtown Dubuque, but short trip by car. The Saturday farmers market was 3+ blocks long. Home was close to US Hwy 20 for our trips to Dyersville "Field of Dreams" and Galena. Jenni left us nice suggestions for her favorite restaurants. Backyard patio and sunroom were great for sitting with beverage and a book.

    Great location, Great house

    This is an excellently maintained house that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is really close to the Mines of Spain for hiking and biking; it is also only about 5 minutes to many downtown locations. Comfortable beds, peaceful ambiance, good internet connection, ample seating/dining, and a great outdoor space all lend to the superb attraction of this property.
