Great place to stay for events in Oakland.
It was a great place to stay if you are looking to use the BART system,as it is only a ten minute walk from the hotel.Overall the the hotel was great. The hotel staff accommodated me to the fact that I needed to be somewhere by 1:00 and let me check into my room early.

Less expensive and you won’t be sorry.
I was afraid there would be noise from the nearby freeway, but the double-pane windows effectively blocked it out. We appreciated being close to BART. In fact it was walkable. We stayed here to save money and we weren’t sorry. There was no fridge-I learned you can ask for a fridge-microwave combo for an extra fee. But we didn’t figure that out until we were leaving.

    Stay away from this hotel
I will not going back ever again to this hotel. The fan was not working because when we turned on the fan smelled liked something was burning. Terrible fired hazard. The coffee maker was not working. The door was hard to open it. The main door was a safety hazard you could get kill if you did not inside on time. Housekeeping was the worst experience. We left the room at 9AM to going to a festival and when we came back at 4PM the room was still not clean. I complained to the front desk and she said they would bringing some one so we went out again. Then when we came back at 5PM nothing. We just gave up. We decided to go out for dinner and when we came back the room was clean. Right. 6PM? I was going to mentioned about the fan and etc but my son said let it go since the place looked chaos. I forgot to mention that when we got there the room was not ready but other people who just getting there they were their rooms right away. Breakfast was not so bad but they should made a note on Labor Day that on their cards that they would closing at 9AM. My son missed his breakfast. He ended having breakfast at the mall. My main concern is how housekeeping. and maintenance keep that place. The place is old but keeping those rooms well clean would not keep scaring people away. Normally I give good reviews to hotels but with this one... Nope. Staff might nice an polite but like I said before I said housekeeping is very sloppy.

    Sad!
It was a sad trip my aunt was passing away and we rushed out to norcal to see her. And stayed there in Dublin. The first room the shower didn't work. They relocated my husband and I to another room so far away from the room we were in we got lost looking for it. No one from guest services spoke to us they let the maintenance man do all the work. His English was poor not his fault. He couldn't give us accurate directions to our new room. The guest service staff should have contacted us about the move. The maintenance man returned with our keys to the new room did not offer to help us. We had major luggage... oh wait I forgot to mention we left our honeymoon to make it to my aunt's bedside. When we finally made it to our new room it was much smaller and had no refrigerator. So I found myself calling guest services again. They were apologetic but at the end of the day I was just unhappy with their customer service! I work as a store director for Safeway I know about customer service they wanted to just say sorry and be done with us. But kept missing the mark, making forgiveness very hard. Oh and we stayed about a week it cost us almost 700 to stay and on the last day we had no toilet paper! The maid cleaned the room the day before. Oh and the room had not menu for room service. Lol lucky for me I got someone nice from the kitchen to help me complete my order with no menu!!! When I finally seen the menu I realized you guys just saved us some money! The menu looked good! 🤔
