    Gilded Age
Waitstaff and bartenders were terrific the people at the front desk could’ve been a bit more friendly and outgoing there was a fire alarm in the hotel on Sunday morning and there were no staff members telling anyone what to do or where to go particularly on the fourth floor where I was the grounds are beautiful on the inside it’s definitely an old hotel the paint is put on very think the tile grout is chipping but the toiletries were the best I’ve ever smelled and used in a hotel and the bed super cozy The topcoat of the hotel is beautiful you, could barely get nitpicky about the details. A pricey for the location it’s Cape May not Cape Cod.

    Almost perfect
Beautiful room, very clean and comfortable, and beautiful building and amenities, but no coffee maker in the room, which is usually a deal breaker for me. Only option is to get up and dressed to purchase it at Toms Folly cafe in the building, or order a pot of coffee from room service, for more than I usually spend on breakfast. But if your not a coffee drinker you will love this hotel.

    Busy Weekend Stay
The hotel is beautiful the staff was great and very accommodating. It was a very busy weekend between Christmas and New Year’s. Tried to make dinner reservations twice at the Blue Pig but couldn’t fit our time frame. Unfortunately our room was located above the Brown Room where a very loud band was playing until midnight. Still a great weekend though.

    Magical
We stayed overnight to celebrate our son’s adoption finalization. Everything being so beautifully decorated for Christmas along with Congress Hall’s old world charm made for a magical stay. We just might make this a yearly tradition!!
