smoke alarm set off with shower
The hotel room was very nice and comfortable. The downside... the steam from my shower set off the fire alarm. So that was an uncomfortable experience. I guess the bathroom door has to be closed while you shower.

Very distraught customers
We booked the hotel for the sole purpose of using the rooftop pool to lay out. We went up on Sat morning to check it out only to be told that it was closed the entire day until 4pm. We spoke with the manager who said he told us that when we checked in however none of the 4 of us remember him saying that. He offered us a $100 credit which never showed up on the charges. We never received our email invoice either so we could not see all of our charges for the room. The beds were very low to the ground and hard to get out of. I don’t think I would stay here again. Maybe just visit the pool bar

The Standard standing up to the standard
Checking in was easy and Chris at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Every single staff here is on top of making you feel at home and providing you with anything you need. The room was clean and straightforward. Very sexy shower glass set up so don't stay in the same room with anyone you do not want to see naked. The bed was comfortable and I'm glad they left a pair of ear plugs. It's loud and with construction near by, even the most comfortable bed and pillow will not help. Great location. Roof top pool space was a little small so get there early if you want a chair.

Yuck
When i arrived, the entire floor reeled of pot and cheap cleaning supplies. The low beds with platform is uncomfortable and awkward to get in and out of. The walls are thin so you can hear everything. The building is old and the rooms reflect it with grubby grout in the tile and yellowed/falling apart trim. There are crusty spots on the carpet so be sure to wear shoes!

System down, room had a person in it, rude bouncer
I arrived and the system was down, so they told me it would be a little while to check-in and gave me some free drink tickets and said they would grab me when I'm good to go to my room. I said I wanted to workout instead so they gave me a key to go do that. I went to the very odd gym, completed my workout, and went back to grab my key. My room still was not ready so I stood there for 10 mins filling out all my information for a reservation I had already made. Finally, they gave me an "upgraded room" for my wait. When I got up to the room, someones stuff was spread out all over the place and they were obviously still staying there. So I went down, asked for a new room, and went up. I went and grabbed some food. After that, I wanted to go to the rooftop bar with my drink tickets and chill for a while. The bouncer told me I can't go upstairs with shorts on after 7PM. I asked if that applies to people staying at the hotel. With a bunch of attitude, he let me know that the "good thing about staying at the hotel is that I can go to my room and change." We exchanged some words because he was a rude a-hole. So I said f-it and went to my room to go to sleep. Will absolutely never be back.
