Comfortable, but claustrophobic
Comfy room, but very dark, with little daylight coming from small windows looking onto a building close up. Ended up sitting in the bar to work, because the room felt a bit claustrophobic. Staff were really good. Valet parking is $40, so not cheap. If you can afford to stay in a Superior room, go for it, if only to get a window...

Beautiful classic hotel in central Dunedin
This is a beautiful hotel with excellent helpful staff. The concierge Mo was outstanding in his service. The restaurant provides high quality food. My only reservation is the size of the room we were initially allocated. There are a very small number of rooms that state they are a double room. If you are unable to open the wardrobe fully and 2 people cannot open 2 suitcases at the same time I would advise this should not be sold as a double room. Please avoid 715. Furnishings through the hotel are of the highest standard and the room we were moved to was beautiful. My advice take care in what you select.
