The hotel was in older condition but felt secure, even tho in a high traffic tourist area. Location made up for everything - we walked to Fisherman’s Wharf, the sea lions and restaurants, Ferris wheel, and Boudin Bakery and cafe.

Wharf Inn made a very busy professional week easy, thanks to staff. Easy check in process, super clean room, and very good wi-fi for my early morning business Zoom calls. Just two blocks away is a Trader Joes and starbucks. And I was the only person to take a cable car to my conference downtown!

You would be better off staying a prison cell on Alcatraz Island. The staff was nice but the hotel was disgusting. The curtains had holes all over so light came in, the furniture was disgusting, the wall paper was falling of the walls, and the worst part was the entire building is warmed by a boiler that only turns on after dark. I would rather sleep in my car then stay at this over prices gross hotel.
