Brilliant hotel. Right in the heart of the city and in the best location possible.
We had to wait 1.5 hours to receive our room because we arrived “15 minutes before the official check-in time”. I made a reservation for 2 nights, but the hotel decided to check me out of my room for the first night and re-check me into the same room for my 2nd nights stay... but they didn’t say anything until I returned from a long day of tours and exploring the city, and went to my room and the room key didn’t work. The toilet in our room wasn’t working and nearly overflowed 3 times. I called the front desk at 8:30pm, they said a technician would be sent up, but after no one arrived at 10pm I called again and they said that the technicians were unavailable (why keep me expecting someone, instead of just telling me no one is coming!) I went to the front desk in the morning to have it fixed and whoever I spoke with in the night about the toilet, they never made notes for my room needing the toilet repaired or checked. Due to being “checked out” in the middle of our reservation, we couldn’t get into the executive lounge either and had to make the busy front desk line again to have our cards reactivated for the lounge. This was not a luxury Marriott experience, and my expectations (especially for the price) were nowhere near being met. I have solid doubts for staying in a Marriott for my future vacation hotels...
We had large room, huge bathroom with bath top and shower room, breakfast was included, we had 24/7 lounge access, location of hotel is very convenient , few mins walk to train station and most of museums and attractions
The best location which close to Grand Place with all varieties of foods and shops.
