What a dump! I'm really kicking myself for waiting so long to book a hotel for our weekend get away! Almost all the rooms in town were already booked, and are certainly booked now or else we would high tail it out of here! Check in was easy enough, but upon entering the room, the incredibly filthy carpet was the first sign of trouble. We did not take our shoes off at all. The furniture is a mix of rustic cabin and thrift store cast offs, the dusty fake plant above the tv was no help. Our first use of the sink revealed a clog, which seemed to spit what looked like vomit out if the pipe. The front desk attendant seemed surprised when we requested help since no one had complained about our sink yet. He fixed it with a toilet plunger. He was cheerful enough about it. The pillows are misshapen and need to be replaced, and the beds are structurally unsound, very wobbly! The curtains did not close, and the light in the bathroom is very dim. The kicker though....the pool advertised online, is EMPTY! It's August and the pool is empty. I paid way more for this dump than most other reviews, probably because it was one of the only rooms left in town. Needless to say, I will NEVER stay here again and it's all I can do to not just drive home and sleep in my own clean, comfortable bed. To top it off, the desk clerk who checked us out could have cared less about our stay, and we paid about three times the normal rate because of the busy weekend. Terrible, horrible, awful.

Hotel Needs Attention, but Location Convenient
This hotel is very tired looking, and at $150/nt, was overpriced. First thing we noticed; their advertised pictures look nothing like the rooms. Carpets need replacing on the outside walkways, as well as in the rooms (we didn't take our shoes off). In room furnishings were beat up and tired, with peeling lacquer. Room was also dirty, and grungy looking; mirror in main room was smudged up and cloudy, carpets were dirty, bathroom needed a scrubbing. The extremely small shower was not clean. The rooms are non-smoking, but pretty much everywhere else on the property smoking is allowed. Guests next door and below us spent most of the evening out on the walkways smoking, so the room smelled like smoke, probably from continuously sucking all the cigarette smoke through the heater vents. This all added insult to injury. The check-in staff was probably the rudest we have experienced. The guy managing the office was dealing with a packed parking lot and shuffling cars, and was visibly flustered. When there was no more spaces, except for one that would maybe fit a golf cart, he flippantly told us there was a large lot up the road and shuffled off. We understand there was lots of snow and therefore less parking, but when you are the face of a company, try to smile. This was before we even checked-in. He spent the rest of check-in mumbling under his breath, and showing his pure disdain for the job. Paying $155 to stay here was a rip-off, even during high season.

Poor 2.0
The property condition is horrible. Everything is extremely dated and worn. Seems like the hotel was last updated at least 30 years ago. The sink in our room was completely clogged and it would take half an hour for water to drain. All power outlets were broken and I found only one capable of holding my phone charger. When I told the guy at the reception, he said they are not broken, but are just loose, so apparently they are aware and think this is totally OK. If they charged me their normal rate, and would say the motels is just mediocre. However, they charged me 2.5x their normal rate because it was a labor day weekend, even though when I arrived at the property, they were asking their normal rate. So from the point of view of $160/night motel this was a complete disaster. Stay away from this property.

I understand that check in is at 3pm we got into town early and had a wedding to go to at 4pm I called the front desk asking if there was any way to check in a bit so we would have time to change. I explained the situation and the front desk woman just said “nope not my problem. We only have 1 house keeper for 36 rooms I don’t want to over work her.” Then hung up the phone. Luckily my parents hotel was more accommodating I was able to change there. After the wedding and dinner I finally got to check in at 9pm they didn’t have parking spots left so the front desk person told me to block in the dumpster. We get into the room and don’t even look at the condition of the bed just got in. Next morning as I’m getting ready I noticed the sheets where stained with blood and the bed had a dead spider tucked under the pillow. I will never stay here again

Very Good 8.0
Overall decent place and the price is great
Easy check-in when we arrived, and the person at the front desk gave me all the necessary info - wifi password and breakfast timing in the morning. The family suite was clean and looked like it had been remodeled recently. Everything was clean, and the room was in good condition overall with just a few things (loose baseboards, rickety lamp) that were minor for the overall stay. The "family suite" was not quite what I expected. The picture of the king bed was conveniently left off, as it would immediately reveal the room probably wasn't any bigger than the 2-Queen bed. It is not a 1-bedroom suite. Perhaps it's called a suite just because it has a small refrigerator and a microwave. Breakfast was sufficient though nothing spectacular. Mini muffins, english muffins, some bagels, coffee, hot chocolate, tea and juice all available. Really a nice bonus than anything else. Wifi was terrible despite there being 3 or 4 connection points available. Either way, it was a fine room, the price was right, and we would consider coming back here again in the future.
