Relaxing week in Provo
Very nice resort in a convenient location on Grace Bay. Easy access to good restaurants on the beach or near the beach. Staff was very friendly. Only downside is you could get about 1 1/2 showers before the water cooled off. Not so great for the second person in the shower.

A favorite places to visit.
This is our 4th visit to this resort. It survived the hurricane which is wonderful. It is an older resort, but well kept. Staff helpful, pleasant and excellent at their work. Coffee, micro wave ( full kitchen in the 1 bedroom) allows you to eat in some of the time. Excellent food (all 3 meals) at the small restaurant. The beach is over 10 miles long, the water clear, the sand soft and also hard for walking. The coral reef keeps the big waves away. Some entertainment, but there is good reading and good sleeping on the beach. Other good restaurants within walking distance and/or short cab restaurant. We will be back again as it is one of our favorites

Good Value, Great location
We stayed at The Sands last year and found RWI to be similar though a good bit smaller. We did miss a workout room however that was not a biggie. Same beautiful beach- plenty of beach chairs and towels. Grounds were clean and pretty well maintained - exposed pipes and tubing in the gardens were noticeable and should be covered up but that was minor and maybe a result of hurricane damage? Our 1 bedroom suite was nicely appointed and maid service was good. The bar staff was great and the food there was good but pricey. We rented a car for 5 days which is expensive (about $60 a day) but we really enjoyed driving to different areas of the island and trying other restaurants. I would recommend it if only for a few days. FYI Barbara Johnson is a local singer who plays at the Grace Bay Club on Tuesday nights( and other places on Friday and Saturday). She is awesome and the venue there is beautiful.

One time stay
This place is pretty, we had an ocean view and that contributed. But from the start there were problems. My fiance and I got a 2 twin bed room. So much about romance. That was not the room I picked. The choice when I booked the room was between queen or king bed. Definitely not 2 separate beds. So they offered the other room on the first floor that had " the ocean view" which was not at all the view. They explained that if you see a micrometer of the ocean, that's considered the view. Customer service was poor, people that work here are angry or something, I don't understand what's their problem. If you have any question or request, they will just say NO. No explanations, no I'm sorry, thank you or anything like that. For example, I asked for a beach towel, all I got is "no more towels!"... Overall, I will not stay there ever again. There are better places for the same price. Oh and yea, it's pretty dirty.
