We were tired after driving several hours so decided to stop and glad we did. Hotel was in nice location just off the highway, but quiet, clean and comfortable. Beds were just right and breakfast was delicious.

Avoid this property.
We checked in at 11 p.m. to get some rest on a road trip. The fire alarm went off at 12:30 a.m. We dressed, went down the stairs from the third floor and stood in the parking lot until 1:15 a.m. waiting for the fire department to finish checking the hotel. Alarm system malfunction. At no point did the staff update the guests on the progress of clearing the building, we just went back inside when the fire department left. This morning, on check out, I asked the staff to discount the room in view of our inconvenience. They refused to offer any compensation either as a discounted rate or future credit. The desk staff also refused to accept my military I.D. as identification on check in and insisted to see my drivers license. They also demanded a credit card for "incidentals" even though the room was paid in advance. Bizarre design: There are NO towel bars in the bath/sink. Towels are stacked in a stylish shelf but there is no place to hang a hand or bath towel after you've used it. There are no outlets near the bed. Charging electronic devices or for those who need a CPAP machine, would be a problem. There are USB ports in an alarm clock but they didn't seem to work. The shower has fixed shampoo and conditioner dispensers. The shampoo was empty and the tube that was inserted into the dispenser was crumpled...others have tried to get a last bit out before me. For the price, I would certainly expect a higher standard of service and competence.
