La Quinta in Albany
We stayed 3 nights for the country music festival and weren't in the room too much but overall I was pretty disappointed, have never seen a La Quinta like this. I felt like I was staying in a run down cheap motel. The carpet was dirty, we had no safety latch on the door which made me very uncomfortable, toilet wasn't even bolted to the floor, barley any light the room. There were literally mushrooms growing in the hallway by the ice machines, told them and they were still there 3 days later. The trash can outside was overflowing and it didn't get taken out till the last day we were there, I found clothing under our bed from previous guests. The pool and hot tub are open 24 hours which was pretty cool but it's so hot and muggy in there you can't even enjoy it and the jets were awful. I may be a little picky since I worked in the hospitality business for more than 8 years but for over $100 a night I was not impressed. A few pros: coffee bar and lobby was nice, free WiFi and breakfast, HBO, good towels, and the check out process was fast and easy but I won't be spending my hard earned money there again.

I have stayed at the hotel about a year ago and it was nice! I don't know what has changed but it was nasty and dirty. They couldn't find a clean room for me nor the other 4 groups in lobby at the time I checked in.

The room that they gave us. Someone was already sleeping in it. We did got a different room across the hall. There was only coffee for 1 person. No sugar no cream. There was no coffee for breakfast or sugar. And the ice michine was broken.

Quick weekend
One of the queen bed frames broke when I sat on it (I'm only 170). Pool was closed the next day. A/C works well, but it is an older unit, so a little noisy. Breakfast was the standard fare, nothing fancy but good. Overall served its purpose for a one night stay at a decent price.
