“Free” isn’t always free
There is no Wi-Fi in your room so only plan on using it in the lobby or restaurant. Front desk isn’t so helpful. “Free” breakfast is definitely not free! The bathroom had a bubble of water on the ceiling. Had to park across the street for parking. We had a nice view though.

Price Gouger And Not Worth The Stay
I stayed here the Daytona 500 weekend and paid close to $600 a night for a minimum 3 night stay. Today (two days after the Daytona 500) the room is selling for $119 a night. I feel like I was priced gouged. Upon entering the room my toilet bowl was stuffed and was wobbling and not properly set. Additionally, the shower curtain was ripped, dirty and old. The metal in the shower where the shower curtain hold appeared to have mold. The refrigerator made noise all night long and the temperature control did not work, the room was freezing with no way to lower the temperature. On my 3rd day, I had to ask for towels and toilet paper as there was no room servicing conducted. At nearly $600 per night, this is shocking. The kicker is that I was charged a 22 dollar resort fee for a hotel with no beach access. The stairs to the beach were half missing, and I was informed you had to walk 3 or 4 blocks to obtain beach access. The nerve to charge a resort fee for this experience. My feeling is that this hotel was built in the 1950s and had barely any updates made since then. I should also say that the restaurant was nice, recently remodeled, and the beer and food was good.

Screwed.
First at check in I asked the charge be taken off my card and I would pay cash. Which they agreed. Ten hours later the card has not been refunded and they gave me no paper evidence that I paid the cash. I am stupid for letting that happen. Second the key did not open the room door and a second set was given to us which still did not open the room. Then maintenance was sent to change the door lock and still no luck. We were changed to another “similar” room. This room has shampoo conditioner and lotion in the small bottles, but no hand soap???? Also the steps to the beach were taken out by the hurricane and still have not been replaced. This was a by the way moment not revealed until check in. All in all… my afternoon on the beach did not happen.
