This is a budget motel which I knew when I booked it. I was only in Ft. Walton for a weekend wedding and I was not going to spend high dollar. The room is average, fridge, microwave iron/board and thats about it. I was worried a bit about bugs because of the previous reviews but surprisingly I didn't see one ! Other reviews indicate the front desk girl was rude, I can confirm that is TRUE. She seemed bothered to check me in and seemed annoyed that she even had to come to work. And when it was time to check out no different. On my way to get ice, I ran into the housekeeper, yep there is only one for the entire property. She was a pleasant surprise and introduced herself and continued to say that my comfort was very important to her and asked if I needed extra towels. I replied that I was fine and that my room could be skipped to make her days a little easier. More than likely I would not stay there again.
