Tuscaloosa Stay.
It was ok. Room was ok, but dated. Look like 20 years ago. Needs to be updated.

It's my go-to in Tuscaloosa
This was my third stay at Super8 Tuscaloosa, and my go-to choice for future stays. Streamlined efficiency, super comfortable bed, and affordable price.

Does quality matter anymore?
I had ticks in my bed and I was severely bitten by bedbugs. I notified the front desk and was told by the desk attendant that she would need to call her manager. I asked her if she could get housekeeping or someone to come and spray or if there was another protocol for these types of incidents. She said no. The next day I had to spend my own money to buy a can of bedbug/flea killer and spray the room. I went back to the front desk and another lady at the desk had the audacity to tell me that they sprayed the room. I don't think she realized that I knew I had sprayed the room, not them but she tried to take credit for what I did at my own expense. The room was dirty and smelled of mold, which they tried to cover up with air freshener. The bedding was old and had stains and holes in them. The chair cushion was broken and kept sliding off as I sat down. I reserved a smoking room, but I didn't know it meant they would just put tape over the smoke detector. The air conditioner only had two air directionals left attached. The carpet was extremely nasty, sticky, and dirty. Housekeeping didn't vacuum for at least two days because dirt that was on the floor when I checked in was still there Wednesday. When I returned home, I had to go to the hospital for treatment for the severe swelling, pain, and inflammation from the bedbugs and ticks bites. I will never, never, never stay here again. I would rather sleep in my car on the freeway.
