Needs some work
We stayed there due to the hot tub. Was extremely dirty with a ring around the top of it. Hot tub chemicals did not appear that they are routinely managed looking at the water coloring. I will likely bring my own test strips next time before going in. I realize most hotel hot tubs are an enter at your own risk type thing but this one seemed dirtier than most. Trash was not removed from the night before. Did not go in the pool but looked similar. Lobby area was very nice and clean. Hallways had multiple areas where someone either spilled fluid on the walls or it leaked out of somewhere. Appeared that it had been there for some time. Rusted vent coverings in the hallway. Whoever painted our room had multiple paint splotches on the sink, trim, and even back of bathroom door. Did not look professionally done. There is a dumpster outside so not sure if they are doing any renovations at this time. With more cleaning and maintenance, I feel it could be really nice.

Matched my low expectations
I guess you get what you pay for... In this case, it's a bed and a room. There was a pool and hot tub but it was over-crowded and loud, so I didn't go in. The entire "food" buffet is below bad. Minimal, toxic and basically a bowl of cold cereal and white toast. Rooms have no wall art and are purely basic rooms. The location is behind a truck stop which just about says it all. In the photo there is landscaping but now it's rocks and dead weeds. No elevator, just stairs. When I saw my room I tried to cancel but I'd booked it via 3rd party (Hotel.com) but never again. They make it virtually impossible to cancel and the hotel can do nothing!

Would not recommend
We booked this hotel because it was reviewed high on the app. I honestly do not understand why it’s rated 8/10! It’s in the back parking lot of a truck stop with no sign as it’s busted (looks NOTHING like the picture advertised), checking in was easy and the staff were friendly, as soon as we walked around to the side door and into the building it smelled musty. We got into our room and same thing, it smelled musty and damp. The room itself was not the cleanest, the ledge on the headboard clearly had never been wiped down, dust/dirty in corners and crevices. We figured we would head down to the hot tub since that was a main reason we booked this hotel and we were out within 5 minutes because we were so grossed out. There was a PILE, a literal pile, of dead bugs in the corner by the hot tub. We thought at first they were cockroaches but weren’t 100% sure. Either way, it was disgusting and there was so many in the pool area. Went back to the room and were thankful for clean sheets at least. In the morning we grabbed a bite to eat at the breakfast they offered, which was your typical cereals, toast, waffles, coffee and juice, and headed home.
