good hotel at a great location
A good hotel with great location, Colosseum, roman forum, restaurant area at a walking distance and for the rest metro was also too close. The staff was very helpful and room was very clean.

Hotel Ranieri
The hotel was beautiful with traditional architecture. You could take an old fashioned lift to get to your room or the marble spiral staircase. The breakfast was great with a lot of choices and kind staff and in a room that was beautiful. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. We appreciated the very cool air-conditioning in our room. And, the location of the hotel was convenient for sightseeing and just a 15 minute walk to the rail station. There was one problem that would keep me from staying here again. The wifi wasn't strong enough to use in our room. We (and other guests) had to go to the bar/lounge to get wifi. We asked for help and they kept reseting the wifi but the signal never stayed consistent in our room. This was really inconvenient and would keep me from staying here again, even though it was a beautiful hotel.
