Good value for the money
This was a good value for Rome. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was great. The rooms are old but clean and the bathroom is tiny but it does the job. Only complaint is by the end of the 2nd day, there was a bad smell in the room - I think it was coming from the plumbing.

Good enough
My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights. The hotel is okay. We understood the building is old so we didn't have high expectations. The room was big, lots of space. We had problem with hot water for showers. sometimes it took a very long time to work and other times no water came out at all. But if you wait long enough it works. The staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was okay. Cereal, toast, sweets, egg. It was plain but filled us up. The hotel is in a good area. Lots of food, affordable restaurant and clothes shops. It was a good stay.

There are better options
The area is good because to the train station right there. the hotel itself was very outdated. the room we got was not like the pictures. It smelled like they had just spayed for bugs, horrible,we had to open windows and get fresh air in. breakfast was the usual hard boiled eggs, cereal, breads, coffee. I would not stay here as there are so many more options for less.

Not for me!
Very rarely do I select a loser hotel but this one of those times! There is nothing positive to say about our experience so I'll just let the "1" rating speak for itself.

Perfect for budget travelers
Hotel aquarium is ideal for budget travelers. It is a two minute walk from the train station. The staff was very helpful and provided us with a map and suggestions of things to do. Our room was large and fairly clean with three large balconies which was great. My only compaints would be the wifi not working in the room (request a room on a lower level) and the rooms being a bit rundown. Overall a great experience !
