Clean, quiet and friendly staff
Good clean rooms at a decent rate.. And can’t beat the location to Red Mtn. walls are somewhat thin and you can hear folks on the 2nd floor clumping overhead. We had booked two single nights and had to change room after one night as the hotel needed the larger room for other reservations. THe Manager and staff were very apologetic and super helpful. 5 minutes to the Mounrain!

Needs improvement
Sheets hadn't been changed, desk chair was covered with dog hair, floor apparently hadn't been vacuumed ever. Other guests routinely smoke just outside rooms, stinking up the common parking area. Breakfast was adequate; the staff helpful.

The room was filthy and run down.

Ski stay
I rate hotels based on what I pay, and this place was not very expensive. Stayed for six nights while skiing. Motel was 5 minutes from the hill and 2 minutes from Rossland. Breakfast was adequate, nothing cooked, bread, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, juice and coffee. Good enough to get us onto the slopes. Ran out of items occasionally but manager rushed off to buy more. The entire town is very relaxed so don’t bring a demanding attitude.
