Bday weekend
Came here to celebrate my 39th bday. We got 3 rooms with my family and all of us were very happy with our stay. My sister and her husband even booked another stay in 2 wks. Food was awesome. Bands were great. Drinks were yummy. Smores were fun. Overall great experience.

Beautiful grounds, dated rooms.
The property grounds are amazing and we thourghly enjoyed exploring them! Our room was another story, we stayed in one of the Stargazer suites. Approaching the room, it felt like we entering a basement apartment. We entered the dark room, clearly in need of an update. It had a king bed and two sleeper sofas, so plenty of room for my family of 5. However, there were no sheets for either of the sofa beds, we found one blanket and two small tired pillows. When pulling out the sofa bed, we were greeted with bottle caps which made us pause on the cleanliness of the room. This suite is has a "private patio and hot tub". Neither of which we could really enjoy...the moldy, acrid, urine-y smell coming off the ratty patio cushions turned us off from sitting out there, as well as the blinding lights coming from the unit above us (which looks directly down into your patio area), meant no stargazing for us. We ate breakfast at the restaurant, nothing special and overpriced. Birds were eating off the uncleared plates on the table next to us. We made the staff aware of our issues when checking out. We typically stay at Starr Pass when visiting Tucson, but decided to try something new, unfortunately, it didn't work out and we will continue to stay at Starr Pass on future visits to Tuscon.

This is a good value for the price. It is a tired property which is why it doesn't cost $150 per night. The furniture is scratched and worn, the shower curtain was ripped at the top. Bottles of Fiji water in the room are not complimentary, there is a tag on them indicating you will be charged $4 for each small one and $5 for each large one. There is also a $20 resort charge. On a positive note, the restaurant was excellent. Wonderful food and prepared well.

Very nice higher end hotel if you have dogs
Wonderful service beautiful grounds. The lobby and landscaping and architecture are very impressive however the actual rooms felt a bit dated (decor, TV). Very impressed with the hotel for the price.
