Roma Norte/Zona Rosa Surprise
Niceer and classier than the photos show. Great budget hotel in a very convenient area. Many restaurants gay bars and nightclubs very close by. WiFi was fast and reliable. I had a very drab interior “courtyard view” which was not a problem because I was out in the city during daylight. Restaurant w On site but I’d recommend leaving since there’s so much so close.

Avoid 7th floor since it is really noisy at night.
Hotel is clean, staff friendly and helpful. Hotel is old style. You get what you paid for.

Affordable, central, convenient
The hotel and the rooms were looking a bit old fashioned but everything was clean and rooms were cleaned every day. I stayed in 2 different rooms. My first room was looking at the main street and there was too much traffic noise. There wasn’t any noise insulation on the windows so it was really difficult to sleep. Fortunately, they changed my room after 2 nights. Although the receptionists couldn’t talk perfect English, they were helpful and kind. Furniture was elemental, but beds were comfortable. There were enough toiletries. Hotel was few meters away from the Insurgentes metro station and Zona Rosa was just across the street. There were restaurants and markets around the hotel. But at night, streets around the hotel can be a bit dark and desolate. With its central location and efficient service Segovia Regency Hotel can be a convenient choice for a touristic visit in Mexico City.

It is what it is.
This place is perfect for what it is; a cheap, safe, and clean hotel only a five minute walk from El Angel. Nothing more, nothing less. The ONLY thing I was dissatisfied with is that the advertisement says “Queen” beds. They are not Queen, they are Full size but this is no big deal. Just be honest. If you’re looking for clean and safe near El Angel, this is the place. The staff is very friendly. If you need luxury, or a Queen size bed, this is not your place. They have King size beds, I saw them, but unfortunately none were available. This place suited my needs exactly.
