Great location
Good location. The room was a bit noisy, but not impossible to sleep in.

It is what it is.
This place is perfect for what it is; a cheap, safe, and clean hotel only a five minute walk from El Angel. Nothing more, nothing less. The ONLY thing I was dissatisfied with is that the advertisement says “Queen” beds. They are not Queen, they are Full size but this is no big deal. Just be honest. If you’re looking for clean and safe near El Angel, this is the place. The staff is very friendly. If you need luxury, or a Queen size bed, this is not your place. They have King size beds, I saw them, but unfortunately none were available. This place suited my needs exactly.

One minute walking from the Insurgentes metro station, super convenient and walkable to surrounding neighborhoods. Housekeeping here goes above and beyond as this was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Spotty WiFi if you need to work on your trip. Not modern or fashionable but how can you complain for these prices?

Overall great place to stay and close to central and historical districts, a bit too noisy and no help from front desk regardless siteseeing and tourism in Mexico City especially if you are not a Spanish speaker.

Kind of decent for a cheap stay
The Maid staff was very nice. The front desk was sort of nice, not too helpful. The room they assigned to me upon arrival (they had quite a few to choose from) was a room that had plumbing problems before I became the first occupant since it was fixed. The bathroom smelled horribly from said previous problem. The room didn't seem to be re cleaned after the plumbing fix. Or restocked in soaps and stuff. Other than that. It's decent. You get what you pay for when you agree to pay something like 700 pesos a night.
