Things are falling apart here
The good things about this hotel were the prime location close to Reforma and Zona Rosa and the courteous staff. The elevators are terrible. Only one was working (size of a cupboard that fits 4 people max) and even that was out one time and I had to climb 5 floors. The toilet would not flush properly and would overflow everywhere if flushed forcefully. The shower would drench the whole bathroom. The sink would not drain properly. The heating was broken and would instead throw cold air in the room. On check in the window was left open by the staff which I didn't realise so the room was freezing the first night. I paid $40/night for this and it wasn't worth more than $20.

Business and vacation trip
Internet connection was down, and hotel personnel did not advise me at time of check in. I had to email some work during my stay, and sometimes WiFi was working and sometimes it wasn’t. Also, I had called the hotel a week before my trip to verify that my reservation was correct, and that I was given two double beds since 3 adults were staying in the room, which the lady I spoke to on the phone assured me I had, but when I got to the hotel, they wanted to give me a room with 2 twin beds. I complained, and I told them I would call Hotels.com to complain, and they immediately switched my room to one with two double beds. I was tempted to cancel my reservation on the spot, but I decided to stay because the hotel is very well located. Pros about the hotel are personnel is very friendly, with the exception of the reservation mixed up, and is very well located and safe for the price. Also it is really clean. Cons are the internet was down most of the time when I was there, and you can hear everything that is going on in the adjacent rooms. Walls are very thin at least in the area where I was staying. If the noise of other guests does not bother you when they are watching TV or talking very early in the morning or very late at night and you don’t need to rely on WiFi, then the hotel is ok.

Good location but quite rundown facility
The hotel is located just 2 blocks from the US embassy and 4 blocks from the Independent Angel monument. There are several good restaurants in the area. It's quite safe to walk around the neighborhood at night. Hot water run well during my stay. However, the interior needs a major update. The central air was running but there's no cool air. I reported the issue and was offered a floor fan. The bed was big but hard and uncomfortable. My room was on the 6th floor and I felt the bed lightly shaking several times at night. I wasn't sure if it was due to earthquakes. The staff was OK but didn't speak much English. The wifi was very slow in the room and in the lobby.

Do not stay!! Save your money
I was really exited for my trip to Mexico City . Sadly I have to say that our hotel was the worst part! Our room was filthy!! The condition of the room was unpleasant to look at. Walls chipped and dirty. Our beds were stained and sheets were ripped. We asked for our sheets to be changed and they didn’t do it . Tv didn’t work . WiFi was poor. Honestly this has to be the worst hotel I stayed in. Super dirty and gross looking.hate being negative but I wish I had know before spending my money
