Hotel Aphrodite, Rome
Good hotel across from Roma Termini
This hotel was great location for our needs. We only stayed one night as it was directly across the street from Roma Termini to catch a 5:30am train to the airport in the morning. It's not a place I would stay for a long term venture in Rome. It's a safe, clean place inside, but there are many homeless encampments rested along the train station walkway, and not particularly safe at night. It's a great hotel if you need convenient access to the main Rome train terminal for other travel.

Excellent in every way.
The Aphrodite Hotel is excellent in every way. The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, comfortable, well located,(across from Termini train station and grocery store), updated and has an elevator right next to the office which is opened 24/7. There is a storage room and bathroom if you arrive before check in or have a late departure.

Excelent service and location.
Great location, right in front of Termini Station, very close to bus terminal and metro station, very convenient for traveling around the city in public transport, a lot of convenient places to eat and shop inside the Termini Station and nearby, but if your looking for low price and good food got to Via Gioberti and Via Daniel Martin close to the station, a lot of options!!

Very Good8.0
Advantageous location, Dependable hotel
Great hotel for the price we paid. Breakfast was surprisingly good. It's right next to Rome's Termini Station and about 30 minute walking distance from the Colosseum.

Clean, right next to train, bed very uncomfortable
The hotel was ok. They were nice and it was easy to check in and out. It is great for the train as it is right across the street from the Rome Termini station. That is the only reason to stay here, and the reason I did, for 1 night. The room was clean but small, and the bathroom was nice. THE BED though, was comically uncomfortable. I thought at first that they had just put sheets on the box spring, but nope, that was their excuse for a bed. I considered sleeping on the floor with some blankets and maybe I should have, it probably would have been more comfortable than the springs from the mattress digging into me. Most other places I stayed while in Italy for 3 weeks, had decent beds and were nice. This was was terrible. I would recommend you don't stay here if you want to have a good night of rest. The neighborhood is ok. Pretty busy, so there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and a very cool market/food court thing in the train station that has an excellent selection of ready made food groceries. Plus from here you can get to a lot of stuff on Rome central. But the bed is a deal breaker. Fix that, and this place would be decent, but not amazing.
