    Glorifies Air BnB with Ritz Carlton prices

    I stayed here with my family (wife, 1.5 y/o and 3.5 y/o and we’ll never go back. I killed 5 cockroaches in our 2 bedroom villa, front desk staff lied and gave us two different stories about why we couldn’t check in 2 hrs early, the pirate pool is in horrible disrepair, dining options are limited, bar staff at the pool is condescending and too busy checking instagram to take order or deliver food. TV in room didn’t work, no blackout curtains, hot tub didn’t work, homes across canal blaring Latin music until late at night. The list goes on, we were incredibly disappointed.

    The worst hotel in the key !

    I’m going to the key every months first time in this hotel and the last one for sure . The maintenance in this hotel is the poor every see . Expensive for nothing the kids pool is a dangerous place for a kid oxidation nothing work missing piece wow almost I call the police

    People were great, but not so much the resort

    The People there were great. The resort options in food were not great and the quality of the food wasn't either and the same goes for the drinks. There's no room service and nothing to eat in case you are hungry after hours. My wife and I wanted to get a pizza to lay down at the beach late at night to eat and look at the stars but that was closed at 10pm. I personally wouldn't go back. My steak that cost me $72 did not taste fresh and I had better outside the resort at a better price and the same go with drinks. After the first night my wife and I decided to leave the resort for meals and drinks and enjoy the keys a different way.

    The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The pool areas were nice and well maintained as well. More lounge chairs would have been nice, especially during peak times such as spring break. We were able to find chairs but had to search out a little bit. The staff was incredibly helpful. While the resort is spread out and offers trollies to get from place to place, we had some unique challenges travelling with a family member who has mobility limitations. The staff was amazing at helping us address those challenges. Our Villa was well maintained and had all the conveniences of home which was great.

    Wonderful place if you are coming with a young family or large family and friends and do not plan on leaving. I guess I am not a resort person, typically plan on visiting local sights and activities. The resort fees are crazy! We would never get our Money’s worth.

    Pool closed at 6pm. No beach access. Coral cove closed at 6pm and two times when we went at 9am when coral cove is supposed to be open, it was closed. Coral cove was also very sad in comparison to other resorts.
