The resort was nice but the room had a funny smell to it. People next door was smoking weed and went into our room. Lots of construction going.

The building it’s nice but under construction on the outside it’s noisy the construction itself it’s somewhat abandoned and stuff is laying around inside of the building it’s in need of service renovations and cleaning needs to be improved inside the room it’s clean on the surface but not really not to mention the equipment it’s old. The cleaning crew that I ran into the very nice people very polite but the maintenance crew is rude and should not have any contact with payers.

Hotel is falling apart, so they are renovating, the carpet was coming up off the floor, and dirty spots all over, I was very disappointed.. And they charge You for everything at that place,.. Even For parking.

It was ok. On the beach, which was nice. The hotel does look old and is being remodeled but I wouldn’t say it was worth the price the charged. The room was smaller then I thought it was going to be and 2 of the 3 elevators were broken and not working.

The stay was not worth over $90 per night. The hotel has a lot more f smells including mildew and there’s lots of renovation going on. The furniture and design is out dated/old. The staff are amazing. The drinks are over prices, 3 lemon drop shots cost me 65$ 😳... Did I mention the carpet cleaning man walked in on me while I was half dressed? Well he did and the hotel did nothing after I called them.

We have been coming to Newport for many years for family trips. I can see it needs alot of upgrades , it was under construction this weekend on the outside but in the inside of the rooms needs alot of work too. Beds were comfortable 👍 Hopefully next year it’s improved 🙏 We’ll be looking forward for the summer 🏝

Horrible stay
The hotel was under renovations and we were not told until arrival. Our room was downgraded to ocean view from ocean front and only given a $15 dollar credit no additional compensation. They only had one elevator working which made it very difficult due to covid. The hotel lobby and elevator smelled of cat urine. This was a celebration for my 40th birthday and ended up turning into a nightmare trip. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Very poor!! They were under construction and the noise at all times were annoying... they did inform us about it and when we complained they didn't want to provide any discounts. Theres cockroachs :/
