Hotel Principe Di Piemonte, Rome
Ok for budget travel
The room is in the center of the city and quite convenient for transportation and visiting places. It is just narrow and not that much comfortable.

Convenient to the train station
The location was convenient, a 20 minute walk to the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small, noisy, but turning on the air conditioning helped as white noise. The room was fine for a 1 night stay and easy access to the train station and train to the airport from there. WiFi was a $5 euro charge extra.

They insisted we owed an additional 4 euros per person per night, cash only, even though we prepaid. Seemed a little shady.

Good location to access public transportation
Hotel is clean and so are the rooms, except the shower curtain. Location at Porta Maggiore is great to catch public transportation: tram 5 & 14 take you to Termini as well as the buses around the corner. Tram 3 takes you to the Colosseum. They charge €10 per stay for Internet. Other hotels mention a €3.50/pp/nt and they charge €4. The guy at the reception played dumb when I asked for a receipt for those charges, and that I had a plane to catch I didn't want to waste more time discussing with him.
