The only thing I wish the hotel had was an elevator. Since Mammoth is at such a high elevation, I found myself a little out of breath going up and down the stairs—but that’s more of a me problem than a hotel problem! 😄 Other than that, we had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the view from our balcony was beautiful, and we really enjoyed the food at the restaurant. Overall, a great experience and a lovely place to stay!

The room was clean with a pretty view. Overall I was so pleased. Some opportunities to improve - although it does call out that the condo is *offsite* it doesn’t clearly show how far offsite it is. It was disappointing to learn that we weren’t going to be within walking distance of the restaurant which was a big factor in why I had initially made a reservation there. I also booked the hotel anticipating soaking in the hot tub however all hot tubs on the property were under construction and that was never disclosed.

This hotel is a bit older, but it is the only one we’ve stayed in in Mammoth that had AC. Was wonderful. Bed was comfortable, TV worked great, they had a grab and go breakfast, coffee and my wife’s favorite thing, a filtered water dispenser with big ice machine. They also made the room EVERYDAY! Haven’t had that since Covid. Staff was super nice and there’s a restaurant on property that smelled delicious, but we didn’t get a chance to try it. Only a couple of things that could be better. The place, especially our room, could use new carpet. Could use more parking. With the restaurant, there were a couple nights we got the last spot. Also, there’s a bear that likes to hang around and broke into a car one night and got into a trash can by the jacuzzi. Not sure what they can so about that though. There’s no elevator, but stairs are wide. Oh, was nice using the jacuzzi after a long day of fishing. Will definitely stay here again.

Advertised as continental but was 4 grab & go items: hard boiled egg, yogurt, muffin and cake item. Nothing else. Both of us were shocked and disappointed. Not even coffee in lobby til breakfast 8-10am.

I want to start off by saying the staff was very friendly and nice, and the room was clean. However, the property needs some updates, the carpet is old and stained and the walls in the room had holes that had been patched but never repainted. One of the blinds had broken and missing slats making it impossible to be completely closed for privacy. But the worst part about this place is the stairs. Not only is there no elevator to the second and third floors you have to climb up stairs to get to the entrance of the lodge. So even if you did have a room on the first floor you would still have to lug your bags up the outside stairs. Funny thing is there are multiple handicapped parking spots, I wondered how someone disabled would get up and down those stairs! I won't book this place again simply because of the stairs.
